Crystal Palace hope their summer spending will be enough to convince Wilfried Zaha to stay at Selhurst Park.
Palace are set to complete the signing of Chelsea defender Marc Guehi on a five-year contract in a deal worth up to £20million after he underwent a medical on Thursday.
Zaha has two years left on his contract but has again reiterated his desire to leave Palace this summer and test himself at a higher level.
The winger cut ties with his agent at Roc Nation earlier this summer in another attempt to engineer a move away.
Zaha has long hoped to secure a move to a top club and came closest to leaving two years ago when Everton and Arsenal wanted to sign him, though there has been little concrete interest since.
The 28-year-old has changed representatives a number of times in order to try and seal a move away from Palace and decided to leave Roc Nation late last season.
Zaha was announced as a client at the management firm owned by Jay-Z, who also work with Kevin de Bruyne and Romelu Lukaku, last November but he has returned to work with family as representatives for now.
Palace have always maintained that they would never stand in the way of Zaha leaving but that any deal would have to represent fair value for the club.
“We understand his position,” Palace chairman Steve Parish told BBC Sport last month. “It’s no secret that he would like to challenge himself.
