The Government of Northern Macedonia has signed an agreement between Germany and Northern Macedonia for the provision of non-refundable funds in the amount of 2.4 million euros, for renewable energy sources of transition.
Prime Minister Zoran Zaev stated that this agreement will ensure the implementation of new projects and the continuation of existing ones.
“These funds support projects such as photovoltaic power plants in TEC Bitola with a capacity of more than 140 megawatts, rehabilitation of the third phase of large hydropower plants, construction of a new park in Miraca, modernization and reconstruction of the energy complex in Gazi Baba and “Solar central heating in Bitola”, said Zaev.
Meanwhile, the German Ambassador to the country, Anka Holstein, said that the provision of funds is a proof of the commitment of the Government of Northern Macedonia in implementing reforms in the energy sector.
