The Mayor of Skopje, Petre Shilegov, yesterday presented some data proving why the project for fast transport in Skopje would cost much cheaper for the city budget, informs Zhurnal.
According to the Mayor of Skopje, the goal of the BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) project is to bring a new communication system from which all citizens would benefit every day, starting from the time they will save for travel, to the positive effect. of these two lines they will have to reduce air pollution.
But more importantly, Shilegov says they want to prove how much can be achieved if you have the will and determination to act right and for the good of everyone around you.
“By comparison, the entire BRT system project, which we believe will make a real difference to Skopje and its inhabitants, costs as much as a tenth of the so-called Skopje 2014 project,” said Shilegov.
