At the opening of the public debate “Investigation and analysis of the situation with corruption in the judiciary”, organized by the SCPC, IVanovska said that evidence of this are the results of this year’s research in the Balkan Barometer 2021, implemented by the Regional Council for Cooperation , where it was confirmed that 81.1 percent of citizens consider the judiciary to be more corrupt.
“If it is a matter of consolation, this percentage is a little lower than last year. The research conducted by the International Republican Institute IRI, in the period March-April 2021, has also noticed a worrying situation in this field, which was the organization of this debate “, says Ivanovska.
Minister of Justice Bojan Maricic, meanwhile, says that the responsibility for building a sustainable system for fighting corruption is a responsibility for all of us and it is good that the SCPC today gathered all those who should be guardians of the state, all participants in the system. judicial from whom a message of justice is expected.
