Hospitality industry representatives demand a public meeting with Zoran Zaev

The independent association of the hospitality industry NUK demands a meeting with Prime Minister Zoran Zaev that would be open to the public, where they will address the huge problems they are facing. Bars, restaurants and cafes are going to be ordered to close at 18h each day, bringing the closing time three hours ahead in an attempt to prevent New Year parties.

The proposals are excellent if we compare them to any European Union member state or any neighboring country. But the Government is irresponsible in not preparing the appropriate package of financial assistance along with the measures, the association said, warning that the ban will lead to layoffs in the industry.
